China Sunway Taihulight has been named as the world's fastest and powerful counting computer device. From June last year, Taihulight has occupied the world as the fastest computer in the world. Earlier, the world's fastest computer was at the top of the list of Chinese computer Tihan-2. Taihulight was the world's fastest computer title for the last three years, Tianhe-2.
China Sunway TaiLight Super Computer Speed 93 Petaflop per second (1 petaflop = 1 thousand teraflop or 1million gigaflop). China has not used any China-made chips or equipment to create this super computer. In other words, this is a complete computer of China's own technology.
US microprocessor maker Intel processor was used to create Tianhe-2 computer. Tianhe-2 was just 33 petaflop speed. The Chinese dependence on Western technology is decreasing, Sunway Taihu light proves that. It's location at the National Super Computing Center in Ushi City, China for use in climate and biology research.
In the case of speed, two of the top ten supercomputers in China, four in the United States. The remaining four are in Japan, Germany, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia. Not only at the top of the list, 167 of the top 500 supercomputers are located in China. But the top processor manufacturers have 165 countries in the United States. China has spent a lot of money in science and technology research.
Japan is planning to create the world fastest supercomputer company by defeating China. The country is planning to build an instrument that uses the country's scientists to make more progress in unmanned cars, robots, and medicine. Japan government is investing $173 million to back China and South Korea in a case of supercomputers.
